The Brand Equity Agency Reckoner ‘07 was out this morning. Mudra is ranked No.2.
We are today the country’s second most respected marketing communications company in the eyes of clients, peers, media and talent. The ranking is something we can be proud of.
Rankings are nice. It always feels good to be recognized by the industry. It is great to win awards, new businesses and have good things written about us. But for me the most important thing is the process of doing the basics right.
Let’s always remember that the reason we come to work each day is to do great work for our clients, to help them build enduring brands and profitable businesses. If we can keep doing this right each day that we come to work, the accolades will follow.
The latest ranking is a reflection of things we have done right over the last few years.
At the heart of the Mudra brand is our commitment to DDB’s philosophy of “People. Product. Profit.” and our promise of “Total Branding Solutions” to our clients. While the former is a tribute to the fact that Mudra is nothing without each of you, the latter recognizes that our only reason to be is our clients success.
We are far from perfect, but I think we are on the right path.
I am convinced that if each of us plays our part as a custodian of brand Mudra, sets our sights high and keeps doing great work for our clients; we will succeed in building a brand we can be very proud of. It will come if we are proud of the work we do and talk about it with pride to our clients and peers.
